I was hooked on ARCHIE'S MADHOUSE when I was a pre-teen . . . being too old for kiddie comics, maybe not old enough yet for MAD MAGAZINE! This was ARCHIE's answer to teen-age snarkyness, weird humor, and a pervasive interest in old movie monsters, at a time that must have seemed like teens were ruling the media!

Here are 68 pages of rapid-fire spoofs, goofs, satire, and random silliness, all in innocent good fun (as the ARCHIE UNIVERSE presented itself). It's a joke-a-minute, with 26 wacky features illustrated by Joe Edwards, and the great Orlasndo Busino, all culled from past issues of MADHOUSE and TALES CALCULATED TO DRIVE YOU BATS! from earlier in the 1960s!

You get gags and mini-stories like "Teen-Age Olympics", "The Discovery of Sleep", "The Ogre's Ode", "Madhouse Greeting Cards", and "Teen-Agers of the Past!"

This is a pretty nice copy - flexible pages, good color, strong squared binding, minor toning, but no rough edges, tears, creases or pieces missing. Great shape for a 57-year old comic! We call it a 7.0 FN/VF. What's that you say, Mr. Overstreet? - $22.??!? uh . . how 'bout we make it $13? And we'll throw in really cheap shipping, to boot!
