I was hooked on ARCHIE'S MAD HOUSE when I was a pre-teen . . . being a little too old for kiddie comics, maybe not old enough for MAD MAGAZINE! This was ARCHIE's answer to teen-age snarkyness and weird humor at a time that it must have seemed like teens were ruling the media!

Here are 36 pages of rapid-fire spoofs, goofs, satire, and random silliness, all in innocent good fun (as the ARCHIE UNIVERSE presented itself). This is an especially amusing issue, with most of its eight features equally split between well-known 'Archie' artists Bob White and Dan DeCarlo>

HILDA the Withch is the Mistress of Ceremonies, and introduces 'The Teen Age Section', 'The Outer Space Section', and 'The Monster Section'!

This is a pretty nice copy - flexible pages, good color, minor toning, but with some cracks and stress lines on the front cover and a bent corner. But nothing mars the 'cool,with-it' and jokey artwork.

We call it a 3.0 GD/VG. What's that you say, Mr. Overstreet? - $7.??!? uh . . how 'bout we make it $4? And we'll throw in really cheap shipping, to boot!
