"Fit to Be Tried," Veronica knits a sweater for Archie; Betty overhears Veronica tell Archie that she put the sweater in a locker she shares with Betty; After a battle with her conscience, Betty douses the package in water, then dries it out on a hot radiator. Katy Keene ad. "Buddha Pest," Archie admires a small statue of Buddha; Veronica says it's been in the family for years, but is one of a pair and is practically worthless without its mate. "Chip Off the Old Back!" Archie's father injures his back while playing ball with Archie in the backyard.
