Here's a great-looking copy of AQUAMAN #37, from back when that Orange and Green costume was a familiar sight in JLA adventures! This issue hit newsstands just as AQUAMAN was debuting on Saturday mornings on the 'SUPERMAN - AQUAMAN HOUR OF ADVENTURE', from the Filmation animation studio!

This issue features the whole 'Aqua Family' and their menagerie of pets and underwater friends, as well as OCEAN MASTER, and the introduction of the villain The SCAVENGER. In "When the Sea Dies!", AQUAMAN, Mera ,and Aquababy are imperiled when a heated fight breaks out between AQUAMAN and his brother, (OCEAN MASTER with amnesia!) and the sea unexpectedly begins to rot and erode away!

The culprit behind the calamity is revealed to be The SCAVENGER, who demands that AQUAMAN reveal to him the location of a strange alien device. In the end, The SCAVENGER meets a gruesome demise, and the sea returns to normal (as we knew it would! wink! wink!)

This is a terrific 56-year old Silver Age AQUAMAN -- no creases, tears, or abnormal toning. The binding is strong, the colors are bright. It's in near-pristine condition!
