Here's a great-looking copy of AQUAMAN #36, from back when that Orange and Green costume was a familiar sight in JLA adventures!  This issue hit newsstands just as AQUAMAN was debuting on Saturday mornings on the SUPERMAN - AQUAMAN HOUR OF ADVENTURE, from the Filmation animation studio!

In "What Seeks the Awesome Threesome", AQUAMAN, Mera and their family visit the Atlantis pavilion of the Expo-21st Century world's fair (which seems to be an attempt to play off the excitement and awe generated by that year's Expo '67 in Montreal, Canada!).   While there, they are attacked by three metallic robots of alien origin! TORPEDO, MAGNETO and CLAW disrupt the expo and give AQUAMAN and AQUALAD a fight for their lives!

There's even a one panel debut cameo by TUSKY, the walrus ally of AQUAMAN, who writer Haney created for the Saturday morning show and inserts here!

This is a terrific 56-year old Silver Age AQUAMAN -- no creases, tears, or abnormal toning. The binding is strong, the colors are bright. It's in near-pristine condition!  We confidently grade this a 9.0 VF/NM. . . which Overstreet values at $86 . . . but we're pricing it at just $73 . . with the lowest shipping under the sea!
