Structurally a VF-7.5 ...BUT there is inking along bottom third of spine and outer edge.Also a date in pen in the white border on the back cover exists.A SHORT HISTORY OF INKING-Comics that were not sold in the past were returnable and were supposed to be destroyed.As such they were put in bundles of 50 wrapped with string and sprayed with purple ink.The copies that were barely touched now come back as unread books lightly inked.The question is how will this be graded.The answer anywhere from a 7.5 to 5.In reality CGC looks at the structural integrity of the book and usually not pen marks,arrival dates,and light scribbling.The great part of this ANNIVERSARY 100 th issue is that Stan Lee felt compelled to state that Spiderman was "created and written" by Stan Lee.I guess he felt his run was ending,or mayby a corporate squeeze play was coming.In any case this issue is known for the last page!!!
