This copy of the very first ANNUAL for The AMAZING SPIDER-MAN has definitely seen better days, but all 72 pages are present, and all show the fascinating and appealing artwork of Spider-Man's creator, STEVE DITKO!

41 pages are devoted to the story "The Sinister Six", wherein Dr. Octopus organizes the Sinister Six, composed of Sandman, Kraven, Mysterio, Vulture and Electro. They capture Betty Brant and Aunt May and force Spider-Man to rescue them.

14 more pages are devoted to full-page pin-up dossiers on "A Gallery of Spider-Man's Most Famous Foes!", including Dr. Doom and the Green Goblin!

In the remaining pages you get "The Secrets of Spider-Man", "Start Here for Spidey's Living Action Demonstration", "The Secrets of Spider-Man's Web", "Spidey's Spider Sense!", "The Secret of Spider-Man's Mask", "Peter Parker's Favorite Heel and Heart-Throb" (J.Jonah Jameson & Betty Brant), "Peter Parker's House", and "How Stan Lee and Steve Ditko Create Spider-Man!", where Stan keeps bothering Steve Ditko while he tries to draw a Spider-man strip.

Lots of cool stuff that will make you feel like you're once again a 12-year-old in 1964!

We won't make any excuses for the condition of this copy - the cover is barely hanging on with the aid of tape, there is writing on the title page, tears, scuffs and chips abound, and there is a date stamp on the cover . . . but the pages are all clean and readable, there is no foxing of the 56-year-old newsprint, and the binding is strong enough to hold all the pages together! Consulting the standardized Grading Definitions, we can rate this a 2.0 GD . . . which Overstreet values at $141.00.
