STEVE DITKO, the creator and main artist for SPIDER-MAN comics since 1962, handles pencils, inks and plotting here for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #37, as the Wall-Crawler goes after evil robotics genius Professor Mendell Stromm and we're introduced to Norman Osborn!

In "Once Upon a Time, There Was a Robot!", Spidey spends 80% of his time battling the robotic creations of Professor Stromm, who is mainly interested in destroying Osborn Enterprises for a perceived betrayal. Norman Osborn is introduced here . . . before he emerges as one of SPIDER-MAN's greatest foes - THE GREEN GOBLIN!

All performed with STEVE DITKO's fun and appealing artwork! The second-to-last issue Ditko would ever work on!

This is a nice solid copy of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #37, with a good binding, supple pages and bright color. The pages have normal toning for a 55-year-old comic, but no foxing. Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 6.0 FN at $70 . . . but we think $58 is much more reasonable, and gives you this issue at far less than HALF of the only other #37 on HipComic! (And our mere $2 shipping fee is another good reason to take this Spidey home!)
