STEVE DITKO, the creator and main artist for Spider-Man comics since 1962, handles both pencils and inks for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20, the first appearance of The Scorpion!

In "The Coming of the Scorpion!", J. Jonah Jameson pays Dr. Stillwell to turn Mac Gargan into the Scorpion to try to capture Spider-Man. Stillwell's formula makes Gargan become more evil than he originally was, and the Scorpion goes on a rampage . . but is finally stopped by Spider-Man.

This is a pretty fair looking, and clean copy of SPIDER-MAN #20, with no cover blemishes . . . but with writing at the top of the splash page, which has become DETACHED from the binding, and has ragged edges. The pages have normal toning, but no foxing. Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 3.0 GD/VG at $105 . . . but we think $80 is much more reasonable, and gives you this issue at the best price on HipComic - in fact, it is the ONLY Silver Age AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20 on HipComic! And we'll throw in FREE shipping, to boot!!
