ALBEDO was a comic book anthology series which was credited with starting the 'Furries' comic book subgenre that featured sophisticated stories with funny or semi-realistic animals primarily intended for an adult audience.

The first issue of ALBEDO was published in 1983 by STEVE GALLACCI, who produced its main feature, ERMA FELNA: EDF - a sophisticated science fiction military series set in a sector of space populated by sapient and predominantly humanoid versions of mammal and avian species. ER MS's story continues through these 4 issues - #4 through 7, published in 1985 to 1986.

Also appearing is the acclaimed work of STAN SAKAI, as he chronicles the adventures of his Rabbit Ronin, USAGI YOJIMBO as well as NELSON GROUNDTHUMPER and HERMY!

Plus, HIGH ORBIT stories by Deal Whitley, and KONNY AND CZU by Matt Howarth!

This is a terrifically nice group of ALBEDO ANTHROPOMORPHICS, pristine in nearly every way except for a couple of very minor cover edge dings. Strong bindings, white pages - no faults or blemishes anywhere inside!

The Overstreet Price Guide cites a value of $81 for this quartet . . but we're willing to let it go FUR $50 - less than the price of #4 alone! . . . and our L•O•W shipping can't be beat!
