Following guidelines from the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics, we grade this as NM- (9.2)! This item is nearly perfect with only minor visibles that keep it below NM. Item looks, “as if it was just purchased and read once or twice.” There may be minor bindery or printing defects. The cover is flat with no surface wear. Inks are bright with a slight dimming of reflectivity. Cover is generally well centered and firmly secured to interior pages. Corners are cut square and sharp with slight blunting. There may be a bend of no more than 1/8” with no color break. No creases. Small, inconspicuous, lightly penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates in unobtrusive locations. Apart from a slight spotting effect (foxing) usually at the edges, there is no soiling, staining or other discoloration. The spine is tight and flat with no spine roll or splits. The staples are generally centered and may have slight discoloration. No staple tears, almost no stress lines or rust migration. Paper is off-white to cream, supple, and fresh. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold is firmly secured. If there are any interior tears, they are slight. There may be a light, barely noticeable water stain or minor foxing that does not distract from the beauty of the item.
