In issue #291, the very first DC 12¢ issue, from the final month of the first year of JFK's presidency, and  and inside a terrific cover by Curt Swan, you get two stories - the first of which is "Superboy's Romance with Cleopatra!"  When SUPERBOY reveals he's in love with Cleopatra, in order to ward off the teenage girls of Smallville,  Professor Potter helpfully invents a time machine to bring her to the present!

And in the second story, written by SUPERMAN's creator Jerry Siegel, and illustrated by ADVENTURE COMICS regular John Forte, you get a wacky 'Tales of the BIZARRO World' titled "The Bizarro Perfect Crimes!" -- in which SUPERMAN helps find a missing BIZARRO-LOIS NO. 1!!

This is a nice-looking copy of one of DC's best 1961 sellers. It's in great shape for being 62 years old, with a good binding, minimal toning, and good color.  No major faults or blemishes - just a tiny missing corner at the top of the front cover, a chip at the bottom  and general raggedness both front and back. We grade it a solid 4.0 VG, which Overstreet values at $20 . . . but if you're a SUPERBOY lover, you'll love our price of $11 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
