Can there be, or is there, a way to exclude a certain seller from searches?

Here’s a link with a suggested workaround offered by Ted T. a few months back:

I’d also prefer a way to “block” two or three sellers. I don’t window-shop much any more because I’ve tired of having to scroll through their offerings.
