Increase max bid

Is there an option to increase your max bid. And does submitting a new max bid automatically increase the cost past you first max bid. I looked but could not find that option.

You can increase a max bid you have already placed, and your current bid will remain the same.

So just bid again and it will change your max bid without jumping the high bid to your last max bid?
