Ash and friends encounter a wild group of Pikachu who snub Ash's own Pikachu due to his human scent. When Ash's Pikachu saves the wild group from an attacking Pinsir, he's accepted into the group and even finds a girlfriend. As Pikachu spends all of his time with his own kind, Ash begins to accept that he may never see him again. Eventually, Team Rocket attacks and Pikachu again saves the day. Finally, as Ash is leaving, Pikachu rejoins him and bids farewell to his wild friends.
