When Pikachu is inadvertently forgetten by Ash at a bus stop, he joins a group of Pokemon headed to a hidden village where abandoned Pokemon are cared for. Along the way they encounter a Kangaskhan her ward, a boy named Tommy who can speak the language of the Pokemon. When they finally reach the village, it is attacked by Team Rocket who hope to capture all the abandoned Pokemon. After defeating them, Pikachu is finally reuninted with Ash.
