This series is continued from New Avengers Vol.1. After the events of Dark Reign & the Siege of Asgard, a new Heroic Age calls for a new team of Avengers. The series concluded with issue 34, ending Brian Michael Bendis' run on the team, together with the conclusion of New Avengers (vol.2). After this it was revamped as The Avengers (vol.5) with a new number 1, as part of the Marvel Now! event.
